OREGON STATE SPECIAL OLYMPICS MEET IN SPRINGFIELD:
March 9th, 2008.
Patrick Hackleman: 145# squat, 95# bench press, 180# deadlift; bronze medal.
Mathew Robinson: 235# squat, 145# bench press, 283# deadlift; bronze medal.
Kimzy Berlatatto: 250# squat, 215# bench press; silver medal.
Jonathan Hollis: 290# squat, 172# bench press, 328# deadlift; gold medal.
Mike Renner: 308# squat, 250# bench press, 368# deadlift; gold medal.
The day went almost perfectly for the Benton County powerlifting Special Olympians at the State Games in Springfield on Sunday. All of the athletes got personal bests on at least two of their three lifts and all of the athletes received medals for their efforts. The Benton County Special Olympics Powerlifting team trains at Downing's Gym in Corvallis.
